Panorama Caribbean Music Festival | Early May

Showcasing the music and culture of the Caribbean, this vibrant annual festival features live steel bands, drumming competitions, authentic food, shopping opportunities and much more

East Coast Surfing Championships | Late August

Elite surfers from around the world come to Virginia Beach every August to compete in the Coastal Edge East Coast Surfing Championships. A popular attraction since 1962, the ECSC features much more than just surfing, including skimboarding, volleyball, skateboarding and swimsuit competitions.

Neptune Festival | Late September

This family friendly festival has been a major annual attraction in Virginia Beach for more than four decades. Ranked as one of the top 10 festival on the east coast, it features more than 35 events, from art shows to concerts to wine tastings. Statists show that more that more than 93% of Virginia Beach hotels are booked during the Neptune festival, so be sure to book early if you plan to attend.
